Alexey Vinogradov and Natalia Mushenkova participated in the industry conference OpenBio where scientific reports in virology, biotechnology and biopharmaceutics were presented, accompanied by discussions of a wide range of related issues. The conference took place in Koltsovo from the 26th until the 29th of September, 2023. Alexey presented a report on the principles of the fund’s work and on the criteria of selecting projects. Moreover, the participants discussed new opportunities of investing and support instruments of biomedical projects in Russia, as well as ways of protection and licensing of intellectual property to link academic organizations to startups.
